Privacy Policy

PaladinsCat processes account details you provide (username, email address, password-derived verification data, and optional avatar URL, bio, time zone, or linked player); content and actions you submit (posts, comments, builds, tier lists, likes, reports, and notifications); public Paladins profile and match data retrieved from Hi-Rez services; and operational records needed to run and protect the service. Anonymous traffic measurement uses a random browser identifier that is transformed into a date-specific salted hash before storage together with normalized public page paths and visit times. The raw identifier is not stored in the analytics database.

Information is used to authenticate accounts, maintain sessions, link verified player profiles, provide preferences and notifications, publish community content, calculate and display game statistics, respond to explicit searches and refreshes, prevent abuse, troubleshoot outages, measure aggregate traffic, and improve PaladinsCat. Personal information is not sold. PaladinsCat does not currently use third-party behavioral analytics or advertising pixels.

PaladinsCat uses a locale cookie and browser storage for the signed-in session, cached translations and results, interface preferences, and a random first-party analytics identifier. Custom wallpaper uploads are stored locally in IndexedDB on the device that added them; wallpaper URLs and small references are stored locally. Loading an external wallpaper, media embed, font, Discord page, or other external link may send a request to that provider. Browser Do Not Track set to '1' disables PaladinsCat traffic measurement.

Authentication sessions expire after 72 hours unless ended sooner. Account records, community content, moderation and security records, and public game data may be kept while needed to provide the service, preserve history and data integrity, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. Daily analytics hashes are intentionally separated by date, but aggregate traffic records may be retained. Browser-local data remains until you remove it, clear site storage, or uninstall the browser profile. Retention periods vary by record type and operational need; contact PaladinsCat to request deletion of eligible account data.

PaladinsCat uses encrypted transport where deployed, salted password-derived verification records, hashed server-side session tokens, access controls, validation, and rate limiting. The active session token is stored in your browser so the site can authenticate requests. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; protect your device and credentials and report suspected compromise promptly.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding eligible personal information. Account profile fields and player links can be managed through account settings where available. Other requests can be submitted through the contact method below and may require reasonable identity verification. Requests may be limited where data must be retained for security, legal, integrity, or public-record purposes.

Public game data comes from Hi-Rez services. The Discord application operates within Discord and uses application-command interactions. Community posts may contain YouTube, Vimeo, or other external links; custom wallpapers can load from user-selected hosts; and the interface may request fonts from Google. Those providers process requests under their own terms and privacy policies. PaladinsCat does not control their systems.

PaladinsCat is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 must not create an account or submit personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact PaladinsCat so the report can be reviewed and eligible data removed.

This policy may change as PaladinsCat's features, infrastructure, or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be updated, and material changes may also be announced through the site or account notifications when practical. Review this page periodically.
